You must show a valid licence on the day of your first lesson. Prior to the lesson the instructor will check your licence online as well. Failure to show the licence on the day will result in the lesson being cancelled and a late cancellation fee charged.
A minimum of 24hrs notice is needed to cancel a lesson to avoid a late cancellation charge, which is set at the cost of that lesson. Leaving a voice message is the best way, but you can email or text (Please make sure the text has "delivered" on time).
Please inform us of any disabilities that may effect your learning to drive upon booking so we can tailor to your needs.
You must inform us immediately if there is any change to your licence during the time learning with us.
The £70 test day fee does not include the cost of the test, which is paid for by you to the DVSA.
Zen driving school are not responsible if your test gets cancelled by the DVSA and if it is cancelled with less than 24hrs notice. You will still be charged by us, but you are able to claim that loss back from the DVSA or take the 2hrs booked with us as a lesson.
You must agree with the instructor on a test date. Sometimes test dates are booked in advance and may need to be changed if the pupil is still not at test standard by that date.
We reserve the right to withhold the use of the car for a driving test.
You should not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during a lesson or test. If the instructor has any reason to believe the pupil is under the influence the lesson will not continue.
Payment will be made to the instructor by bank transfer or cash.
We cannot be held responsible for delay due to traffic or mechanical break down. We will do our best to inform you ASAP and rearrange the lesson with you.
